YouTube Channel Hiring: Video Editor (Podcasts + Shorts) Salary: $330 per month | INR 30,000 per month Type: Remote | Monthly engagement We are looking for a skilled and reliable Video Editor to work on long form podcast content and convert it into high quality short form clips for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Shorts. This role is ideal for someone who understands pacing, storytelling, and short form virality. 📌 Expected Work Responsibilities Long Form Editing Edit 4 to 5 virtual podcast episodes per month Average duration of each podcast: ~1.5 hours Clean cuts, smooth transitions, audio leveling, basic color correction Add simple branding elements if required (logo, lower thirds, captions if instructed) Medium Form Clips Extract 5 engaging clips from each long form podcast Each clip should highlight strong insights, emotions, or discussion moments Suitable for YouTube videos or LinkedIn posts Short Form Content Extract 15 short form videos from each long form podcast Optimized for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok Strong hooks in the first 2 to 3 seconds Dynamic cuts, captions, emojis, zooms where relevant Duration typically between 30 to 60 seconds 🧠 What We Expect From You Good understanding of podcast style editing Strong sense of short form content trends and hooks Ability to identify viral moments from long conversations Consistent delivery and discipline with timelines Open to feedback and quick iterations 🛠 Tools (Preferred, Not Mandatory) Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve After Effects (basic motion graphics is a plus) Experience with captions and subtitles is a bonus 📤 How to Apply Please share: Your portfolio or sample work Examples of podcast edits or short form clips Your availability and turnaround time Only apply if you are comfortable handling both long form podcasts and short form content regularly.
