Hi everyone! I’m the founder of KIMIAS, an emerging luxury leather goods house based in Los Angeles. We’re looking for a talented freelance video editor with a refined, sophisticated aesthetic to help bring our campaign footage to life. Our aesthetic: Alaïa, Saint Laurent, Celine, Bottega Veneta. Think cinematic, sensual, architectural, and editorial. We value restraint, beautiful pacing, thoughtful transitions, and compelling visual storytelling over flashy effects. Creative direction, color grading and tasteful but impactful sound design will be vital. What we’re looking for: Carousel vignettes (5–7 sec): Short, atmospheric clips incorporated into photo carousels. Editorial Reels (12–20 sec): Standalone fashion edits for Instagram. Mini-storytelling is strongly preferred. Campaign films (30–60 sec): Occasional longer-form pieces highlighting entire campaign shoot concepts. Strong instincts for color grading, music, sound design (critical), and pacing. Experience with luxury fashion, beauty, or high-end commercial content preferred. Compensation (USD): Tiered Pricing 5–7 sec vignettes: Pricing Level 1 12–20 sec Reels: Pricing Level 2 30–60 sec campaign films: Pricing Level 3 Paid, project-based work to start, with the goal for a long-term, ongoing relationship as the brand expands.
