[HIRING] Long-Term Bodycam YouTube Editor / Producer — $250/month Starting

I'm looking for someone to join a growing police bodycam YouTube channel long-term. This is more than just cutting footage. I'm looking for someone who can help take a case from raw bodycam footage → story → script → finished YouTube video. Style references: Midwest Safety Code Blue Cam If you aren't familiar with those channels, please watch some of their videos before applying. That's the level/style of storytelling and pacing we're working toward. THE WORKFLOW I provide you with the raw bodycam footage/case. You: Watch through the footage Find the most important/interesting moments Determine the best way to tell the story Cut out unnecessary/dead footage Write the narration/script Send me the script I record the voiceover and send it back. You then: Add the voiceover Finish the edit Build the story around the narration Add music/sound design where appropriate Add text, zooms, highlights, freeze frames, etc. where they improve the video Censor/blur sensitive information where needed Clean up audio Export the finished long-form video Create short vertical clips from the finished video Then we move straight into the next case. OUTPUT The goal is approximately 3–5 long-form videos per week, depending on the length and complexity of the footage, plus clips from those videos. This is intended to become a consistent, long-term position. Starting pay: $250 USD/month As the channel grows and you prove that you can consistently create strong videos, there will be opportunities for increased pay and responsibility. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR I care much more about your actual editing/storytelling ability than your résumé. You should: Understand YouTube viewer retention Understand storytelling and pacing Be comfortable watching large amounts of police bodycam footage Be able to identify what parts of a case actually matter Write clear English narration Understand the editing style of Midwest Safety / Code Blue Cam Communicate reliably Meet deadlines Be interested in working together long-term

Strong long-form video editing and storytelling skills Familiar with the pacing/style of Midwest Safety and Code Blue Cam Able to review raw bodycam footage and identify the strongest story moments Able to write clear, natural English narration/scripts Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut, or similar professional editing software Good understanding of YouTube retention, pacing, sound design, and viewer engagement Able to add clean text, zooms, highlights, freeze frames, music, and censoring when needed Reliable internet connection for downloading/uploading large video files Consistent communication and ability to meet deadlines Comfortable working with police/bodycam and true-crime footage Available for ongoing weekly work
