YouTube Video Editor – NEW Movie Commentary Channel | Currently Casual Work - BUT Possible Long-term opportunity

Hello Movie Lovers/Talented Editors !! I'm the creator of the Movie Msfit Youtube Channel, where we explores the Life Lessons Hidden In Our Favourite Movies. The channel explores films through personal growth, humour and the lessons we can take from the movies we love. The videos are around 8–11 minutes long. I'm currently looking for a freelance video editor to help me build the channel and create powerful yet engaging videos. About The Role You'll be responsible for organising the footage, structuring the videos and matching the right movie clips to the voiceover to create a video that communicates the message clearly, and creates a heartfelt, fun and engaging experience for the viewer. You'll be given the general Movie Msfit editing style and format, but I'm very open for you to bring your own creative ideas, your own humour and to follow your instincts in order to make the videos better. I will provide: - The Voiceover - The Movie footage/assets - The Brief for the episode One important requirement You must be willing to watch the movie the video is based on. It could be anywhere from Finding Nemo to Good Will Hunting to Legally Blonde*.* I'll give you plenty of notice and time to watch it, but this is a requirement for the job. I'm specifically looking for someone who genuinely loves movies and TV and understands the scenes, characters and context they're editing. I want someone who can recognise the right moments to add from the film rather than just searching for clips based on keywords. Long-term opportunity I'm hoping to find someone who is reliable, and I can work with long-term, rather than hiring a different editor for every video. You will be credited for the video at the end of each episode and in the description. I'm very open to brainstorming together and changing the way we work if you have ideas that make the editing process easier for you and helps us improve the quality of the videos. The long-term goal is for this person to become the first member of the Movie Msfit team, with the possibility of this eventually becoming a permanent position as the channel grows. For now, this is casual freelance work. Pay £120 per completed 8–12 minute video The rate will increase as the channel grows and if we both decide to work together long-term. You must be comfortable receiving feedback notes and making revisions where needed. Location I'm based in the UK, so you'll need to be comfortable responding to messages within UK times. You don't have to be UK-based, but I need someone reliable and easy to communicate with. I'm not expecting instant replies, but I don't want to regularly wait several days to hear back about an edit, question or deadline.
