Video Editor / Motion Designer

We're looking for a creative Video Editor / Motion Designer to work with us long-term across our agency's B2B/SaaS and startup clients. The role includes both short-form and long-form editing, but our primary focus right now is short-form content. Initial Workload Around 20 short-form videos/month Most shorts: 30 sec–1 min Occasional long-form YouTube/product videos Ongoing work as we add more clients Types of Videos We're looking to experiment with: Mixed-media / collage animation Motion graphics Kinetic typography Founder-led videos Founder “sizzle” reels SaaS/product explainers Animated product UI and screen recordings UGC-style voiceover content Customer stories/case studies Creative ads Long-form YouTube content Not every video will be motion-heavy. Some will be clean founder/UGC edits, while others will involve more advanced motion graphics and mixed-media editing. What We're Looking For Someone who: Understands short-form hooks and retention Has a strong sense of pacing and storytelling Can edit both short-form and long-form Understands typography and visual hierarchy Can create kinetic typography Can animate screenshots/product UI Has motion-graphics skills Understands clean SaaS/startup aesthetics Can build visuals around a script or voiceover Has good sound-design instincts Can adapt to different client brands Can take creative direction without needing every frame explained Communicates reliably and meets deadlines Is open to feedback and iteration Preferred: Premiere Pro + After Effects or an equivalent workflow. Experience with AI video tools such as Higgsfield is a bonus. You do not need to be a senior editor. We're open to someone who's still growing if you have strong fundamentals, creativity and are serious about improving. Compensation Starting budget: ₹5,000–₹8,000/month This is the starting budget for the initial workload. Compensation will increase as the workload, responsibilities and number of clients grow. We're looking for someone we can build a long-term working relationship with rather than hiring for a one-time project.
