Documentary / True Crime Video Editor

I’m looking for a video editor for a new YouTube channel focused on long-form documentary / true-crime style content. For the first project: * 1 long-form YouTube video — approximately 20 minutes * 5–10 Shorts/Reels created from the finished video I will provide: * Finished script * Finished voiceover * Source material/assets * Detailed editor notes and visual direction, while still allowing room for creative freedom You’ll handle the overall edit, including pacing, integrating the provided B-roll and visuals, zooms and motion, captions where appropriate, music, sound effects, transitions, and overall visual storytelling. I’m looking for a clean, cinematic, engaging documentary style with strong pacing and retention. Nothing overly flashy — the visuals should support the narration and help tell the story. This is for a brand-new YouTube channel, with potential for ongoing work if we work well together.
