Video Editor - Descript Specialist We're looking for a Descript video editor to create our next podcast season with us! This will be a 6 week project starting in September with ongoing work dependent on performance. Scope of Work Episode Production - 10 Interview Episodes: Edit 40-minute raw footage to 30-35 minute finished episodes - 6 Q&A Episodes: Transform 2 x 45-minute sessions into 6 x 15-minute episodes Deliverables per Episode - Edited episode (as specified above) - YouTube thumbnail design - YouTube video descriptions - Audio platform descriptions (We use Buzzsprout onto Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Overcast) - LinkedIn trailer - 2 YouTube Shorts per episode (32 total) Timeline - Weeks 1-2: First half of season delivery (8 episodes + supporting content) - Weeks 3-4: Second half of season delivery (8 episodes + supporting content) - Weeks 5-6: All YouTube Shorts completion (32 total) Project Details - Budget: £1,500-2,000 for complete season - Total content: 16 episodes + 32 YouTube Shorts + supporting materials - Estimated workload: 60-70 hours total - Location: Fully remote (within 4-6 hours of UK timezone preferred) - Commitment: 1 season initially, with potential for ongoing work based on performance

Technical Requirements - Advanced proficiency in Descript (leveraging text-based editing, auto-transcription, and social media export features) - Ability to handle large 4K video files from multi-camera studio setups (typically 2-camera angles) - Download raw footage from Google Drive into Descript for editing - Hardware/internet capacity adequate for large file management Experience Required - Proven YouTube content creation with measurable performance results - Track record of creating viral or high-engagement content for professional audiences - Understanding of platform-specific optimisation - Experience in business/ VC/coaching/founder content space ideal Submit your portfolio and rates to apply!
