[Hiring] Solo Video Editor (AI + Real Footage) | $20–$40/hr | 0-1 Mission-Driven Brand (Strictly No Agencies)

I am an independent founder building a series of zero-to-one businesses via landing pages geared toward helping people improve their lives—finding better jobs, getting healthy, and reclaiming their time. For the next 2-3 years, I am bootstrapping and reinvesting all revenue directly back into growth and creating more content. Because these videos will make or break the demand for these products, I am looking for a highly creative, self-starting individual video editor to partner with. I am strictly avoiding agencies. I want a collaborator who is driven by the challenge of pushing frontier AI video technology to its limits, having fun experimenting, and genuinely owning the success of the content we create. The Workflow & 3-Minute Trial Project To build genuine creative rapport and ensure I am working 1-on-1 with a creator, our first few projects will be executed live together on a Zoom call via screen share. The Trial Project: We will take an existing, highly successful 3-minute video and creatively replicate it. We will replace the original subject with my likeness, use the exact same script but apply a completely different voice profile, and ideally improve the original structure to make it hit harder. The Goal: Brainstorming on the fly so you understand my vision and how I think. Growth & Bonuses Once we establish a rhythm, you will transition to creating and editing videos entirely on your own. Because I want you invested in the success of these videos, I plan to introduce token bonuses every time an unsupervised video hits major milestones (100k, 300k, 500k, 1M+ views). Technical Expertise Required Merging AI with Reality: You know how to seamlessly blend AI-generated content (talking heads, body swaps) with actual, raw video footage to create an elevated, dynamic final product. Advanced AI Manipulation: Mastering lip-sync, retaining natural micro-expressions, body swapping, and audio binding without the "stiff AI" look. Viral Mechanics: You understand pacing, hooks, and retention specifically for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. Rates & Budget Because I am bootstrapping this from the ground up, my budget for the initial live Zoom collaboration sessions is $20 to $40 per hour (depending on experience and efficiency). Alternatively, we can agree on a flat rate for the trial project. As the brand grows and generates revenue, there will be room to increase rates and expand the scope of work.
