Job Description
Hey everyone! I’m getting ready to launch my YouTube channel and I just finished filming my very first video. It’s a 20-minute raw introduction Q&A clip where I’m answering questions and setting the stage for my content.
About Me & Who I'm Looking For:
I am a teenager myself, so I am looking for an editor who is a teenager or in college (around my age) who wants to team up and grow with me long-term. Ideally, I am looking for a female editor so we can really match vibes, connect as friends, and build a great creative partnership together.
Style Requirements: > Fun, funny, and highly entertaining! I want to showcase a lot of personality, so I'm looking for creative edits, good comedic timing, and a lively, engaging vibe. The goal is to cut the 20-minute raw clip down into a tight 5 to 10-minute intro video.
Compensation & Partnership Details:
Please note that because this is a brand-new channel launch, there is no upfront budget for this very first video. This is a collaboration and portfolio-building opportunity, but I want to build a real partnership. Once the channel begins to grow and bring in revenue, we will discuss a fair payment setup—whether that’s a flat rate per video or a percentage of the channel's earnings. You will also get full credit and your social links featured at the top of every description box. Deadlines are totally flexible to accommodate your school or work schedule.
How to Apply:
If you're interested in building up your portfolio and want to grow a channel together from scratch, please reach out with a brief introduction about yourself and a link to your editing portfolio, video reel, or TikTok clips showcasing your style!
Requirements
Age Group: Must be a teenager or college student.
Editing Style: Skilled in comedy, fast pacing, and high-energy/personality-driven content.
Software: Must have access to their own video editing software (like CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, etc.).
Portfolio: Must be able to provide samples of previous work, an edit reel, or TikTok/Shorts examples.
Communication: Reliable, friendly, and open to creative collaboration.
