Job Description
We’re looking for a reliable, fast, and creative Video Editor to support ongoing content production for both a personal brand and UGC (User-Generated Content) client work. This is a long-term, part-time role with consistent weekly deliverables (approx 15 hours/week).
You’ll play a key role in transforming raw footage into engaging, high-performing short-form videos tailored for social media platforms.
Compensation is expected to increase as workload, performance, and business growth expand.
Key Responsibilities
1. UGC Video Editing
Cut and structure raw footage into concise, engaging videos
Follow clear creative briefs and editing directions
Incorporate b-roll footage where needed
Add simple, clean subtitles/captions
Ensure content aligns with client branding and goals
2. Personal Brand Content Editing
Trim dead space, filler, and unnecessary sections for clarity and pacing
Add engaging elements such as:
Sound effects
Zooms and motion effects
On-screen text and captions
Visual enhancements based on tone/style of the video
Collaborate on creative direction when needed to improve content performance
Work Style Expectations
Turnaround time: Typically 48–72 hours per batch of videos
Availability for ongoing weekly work
Open to feedback and iterative improvement
Organized workflow and file management

Requirements
Proven experience editing short-form content for social media (TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.)
Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, and retention strategies
Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
Creative mindset with attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
Familiarity with current social media trends and editing styles
Ability to meet deadlines consistently
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience working with UGC or influencer-style content
Experience using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar
Understanding of storytelling in short-form video
Ability to suggest creative improvements, not just execute tasks
