Video Editor Intern (Founder’s Creative Partner)

We are looking for a creative and motivated Video Editor Intern to join our team. You will work closely with founders to transform raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, or Internal Communications etc. This is an excellent opportunity to build your portfolio and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. Key Responsibilities Editing: Assemble raw footage, apply creative transitions, and perform basic color correction. Audio: Select background music, sync audio tracks, and ensure clear sound quality. Motion Graphics: Create simple text overlays, lower-thirds, and basic animations to enhance storytelling. Optimization: Export videos in various formats and aspect ratios suitable for different social media platforms. Collaboration: Participate in brainstorming sessions and help develop creative concepts for future projects. Required Skills & Qualifications At least 1–2 years of hands-on editing experience. Proficiency in DaVinci ResolveStudio & related editing softwares. A basic understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A strong portfolio or showreel of previous work (school projects or personal content are welcome). Familiarity with AI video and audio tools to speed up workflows and enhance content. Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Film, Media, Communications, or related program is a plus. Preferred (Bonus) Skills Experience with Adobe After Effects or Photoshop. Knowledge of social media trends and viral editing styles. Basic videography or lighting skills.
