Job Description
Weโre looking for a skilled and creative video editor to help bring long-form YouTube content to life in the sports gaming niche, with a focus on Madden and College Football.
This is not just a clip-cutting role โ weโre looking for someone who can shape several hours of gameplay and camera footage into a compelling, story-driven video that retains viewers and builds excitement.
Youโll be responsible for:
Reviewing raw gameplay and camera footage (often several hours long)
Editing videos between 30โ90 minutes long
Crafting strong narrative arcs from raw gameplay and face-cam footage
Using YouTube-friendly pacing, cuts, effects, subtitles, memes, and sound design
Turning around each video within 2 days
Matching the tone and energy of content similar to Dom CFB, Bordeaux, Weej, or Med
This is a freelance/project-based position. Compensation ranges from $100โ$200 per video, based on experience, quality, and speed.
Sample Assignment (For Shortlisted Candidates):
Shortlisted applicants will receive a short test edit: a 30โ45 second intro for a video titled:
โI Put the Top 10 Running Backs EVER Back in College Football 25"
This will help us evaluate your creative instincts, pacing, and storytelling style.
Requirements
Proven experience editing long-form YouTube videos
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and viewer retention
Comfortable editing content that includes gameplay and face-cam footage
Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, etc
Ability to deliver polished videos within 2-day turnarounds
Bonus: Experience with Madden, College Football, or sports gaming content
