Job Description

We are a fast-growing startup in the music space looking for a creative Video Editor to join our team. We need someone who lives and breathes social media and understands how to make music-centric content stop the scroll. This is a high-impact role where you will be responsible for the visual voice of our brand across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. We are looking for a long-term partner who can start immediately. We aren't looking for "standard" edits; we want high-quality, rhythmic, and engaging content that resonates with music fans and creators. Key Responsibilities: Assemble raw footage into high-end, short-form social media posts. Implement trend-aware editing (fast pacing, creative hooks, and seamless transitions). Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute new content concepts. Ensure all content aligns with a premium, modern aesthetic consistent with the music industry.

Requirements

Job Requirements Portfolio/Reel: Proven experience editing high-quality social media content (specifically short-form/vertical). Music-related work is a major plus. Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve. Rhythmic Sense: A deep understanding of music, timing, and beat-matching in video. Social Native: You stay up-to-date with current trends, platform features, and "what's working" on social media right now. Communication: Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate quickly in a startup environment. Trial Period: Willingness to complete a paid trial of 2–3 videos to ensure a creative and cultural fit.
